The car adopts the exclusive paint of "artisan red" and is available in soft-top convertible and hard-top convertible models. In terms of price, according to foreign media reports from Drive.com, the price of the soft-top convertible version is 3,753,200 yen (about 174,000 yuan). Roadster RF hardtop convertible offers two options: manual transmission and automatic transmission, and the price is 4.3549 million yen (about 202,000 yuan) and 4.3824 million yen (about 204,000 yuan) respectively. For reference, the starting price of Mazda MX-5 Roadster currently sold in Japan is 2,898,500 yen (about 138,000 yuan), while the starting price of Roadster RF model is 3,796,100 yen (about 180,000 yuan).

The appearance of this commemorative model uses "artisan red advanced metallic paint", which is based on Mazda’s "TAKUMINURI" painting technology. The car body is equipped with the nameplate of the 35th anniversary edition, and two different wheels can be selected. For the interior, the car is made of tan, with a 35th anniversary badge on the headrest of the sports seat, and a 35th anniversary edition pattern printed on the carpet inside the car.

Mazda MX-5 currently on sale has a size of 3915x1735x1230(1235) mm and a wheelbase of 2310 mm, and is equipped with 1.5-liter and 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engines, with maximum power of 100 kW and 135 kW respectively and peak torque of 152 Nm and 205 Nm respectively.
