Faced with this situation, Baojun officially responded at the first time. In the statement issued by Baojun, users are informed that Yue is not a brake failure, but a "brake assist degradation".

As mentioned earlier, when the owner stepped on the brakes, but the braking force was insufficient, it was "brake failure" from the user’s point of view, because the user was not an automobile engineer. Therefore, the officially declared "brake assist degradation" is actually the same as "brake failure" in the eyes of users. Simply put, there is something wrong with the braking system.

Since there is a problem, it must be solved! In Baojun’s statement, he did not point out the specific solution, but said in general terms that "the user’s vehicle problem has been solved, please feel free to use it" and "sincerely and properly cooperate with the owner’s aftermath". These two sentences are both general.

First, it didn’t explain exactly how it was solved. After the software update, will there be similar situations in the future? How to prevent similar situations from happening? Baojun didn’t make it clear.

Second, Bao Jun did not specifically point out what solutions there are. Is it compensation amount or compensation maintenance? Or what? I didn’t make it clear. Therefore, from the user’s point of view, after reading Baojun’s statement, I don’t know what to do.

By the same token, many Yueye users have suffered from "brake power degradation" this time, even if Baojun has explained that the problem has been solved, please feel free to use it. However, I believe that there will still be users who are afraid to drive again, or when driving again, the speed is slower. The problem of the car is easy to solve, but the psychological fear of the user takes time to repair.

[3] Baojun should take a complete recall process, not a paper statement!

Since the psychological fear of users is difficult to solve in a short time, it is necessary to build confidence in users! The correct way is not to solve it internally. Instead, take a complete recall process!

The formal recall process is to report to the State Administration of Market Supervision! Then submit the original design scheme, with a detailed explanation of the problems, causes and accident probability. Baojun needs to make a recall plan, which contains solutions to the problems found and ensures that the solutions are objective and effective. This plan also needs to be submitted to the National Development and Reform Commission and filed with the competent authorities. Recall under the supervision of the competent department or through OTA upgrade!

Only in this way can the problem be solved under the supervision of the relevant state departments. In the eyes of users, it is the real solution. The user’s inner fear will also be repaired. Now, relying on Baojun’s simple statement is not enough to calm users’ inner fears. On the contrary, it will deepen users’ distrust of Baojun!
